Who can enter
The contest is open to students and professionals who work with children, in India or abroad.
Students
Currently enrolled in a UG, PG or diploma programme in Psychology or Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Special Education, Speech-Language Pathology, Physiotherapy, or Education.
Professionals
Psychologists, counsellors, special educators, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physiotherapists and teachers.

What learning feels like from inside the mind of a child with a learning difference.
Different, Not Less
A child with a learning difference showing a strength, talent or way of thinking the world often misses.
The Moment I Understood
The moment someone finally understood a child who was struggling, and how the child’s world changed.
How to enter
Entry is free. One entry per person, through the official entry form only.
- Choose your topicPick one of the three topics above.
- Draw it by handOn paper or card, A4 or A3 recommended. Pencil, pen, charcoal, crayons, colour pencils, sketch pens, markers, watercolour or poster colours.
- Photograph or scan itStraight on, in good light, with the whole drawing visible. Maximum file size 10 MB.
- Submit the formAdd a title and a 50–100 word caption explaining your drawing. You need to be signed in to a Google account to upload.
Keep your original drawing safe. Finalists and winners may be asked for a photo of themselves holding it.

How winners are chosen
A jury shortlist comes first, then a public vote, then the jury awards.
Jury shortlist
An expert jury in child development, learning disabilities and fine arts selects up to 20 finalists. Entries are scored on insight into learning disability (40%), strengths-based and empathetic message (25%), creativity and visual impact (20%) and caption clarity (15%).
Public voting
Finalists are posted on SensAble Child’s official Instagram page. 1st to 5th places go to the entries with the most likes on their official post during the voting window.
Jury awards
After voting, the jury selects Best Student Entry, Best Caption and 3 Special Mentions from the valid entries that have not already won a prize.
Key rules
This is a summary. The full rules apply to every entry.
- Original, hand-drawn work only. Copied or traced artwork, digital art, photographs, collages, printed images, clip-art and AI-generated images are not accepted.
- Protect children’s identity. Do not include any real child’s face, name, school or identifying details. Drawings must be respectful and strengths-based.
- You keep ownership of your work. SensAble Child may post, exhibit and publish your drawing, with credit to you.
- Vote fairly. Buying likes or using fake or bot accounts may lead to disqualification.
- Stay safe. SensAble Child will never ask for any payment, OTP or bank PIN to release a prize.
